Its impact is not full, as Mars is in its sign of debilitation in navamsa.  The lord of the ascendant, the Sun, occupies the house of status in association with exalted, Mercury, ruling the house of status.  Mercury's close association with the Sun is auspicious but, Mercury's being combust, reduces the impact of this auspicious association to some extent.  Rahu-Ketu and the functional malefic, the Moon, do not form close conjunctions or aspects in the chart.  The fifth lord, Jupiter, aspects the house of profession from the fourth house.  The third and seventh lords occupy third and seventh houses in their own mooltrikona signs, respectively.  The auspicious combinations in the chart are more in evidence in comparison to complete absence of afflictions and fewer weaknesses.

The fifth lord, Jupiter, aspects the ascendant, third and fifth houses closely from the ninth house.  The lord of the house of fortune forms close conjunction with the eleventh house.  The Sun aspects the tenth house closely.  Mercury and Saturn have distant association with the mid-point of the fourth house.  Mercury is weak on account of its being in the state of infancy and combustion, both.  Saturn is combust and is in the state of old age.

In view of the severe afflictions in the chart, and the weakness of the Sun and Mars, the native could not see high position in life, in spite of his being an engineer.

At the time of his college education he was in the sub-period of functional benefic exalted Saturn in its own main period. Saturn is placed in the third  house which blessed the native with an engineering degree. The fifth lord, Jupiter, is placed quite close to the mid-point of the tenth house.  Saturn placed in the tenth house does not form close conjunction with either mid-point of the tenth house or Jupiter placed therein.  Both Saturn and Jupiter enjoy placement benefit.

Rahu-Ketu axis fully afflicts the houses occupied and aspected, Jupiter and the lord of the ascendant, the Sun.  Functional benefics Saturn, Mercury and Venus are placed in the dusthanas.  The Moon and Mercury occupy their signs of debilitation.  Mars, unafflicted, ruling father, is placed well.  Apart from Mars, all other planets and houses face weakness and/or severe afflictions.  The child was born in the sub-period of the Sun in the main period of Mercury.  He died in the same period.

The traditional approach could not have indicated short life for this native as the Moon with the so called debilitation cancelled, was placed in an angular house, Jupiter was placed in a kendra, yogakaraka Mars was aspecting the ascendant, and the lord of the ascendant, the Sun, occupied its sign of exaltation in the ninth house.

Yogakaraka Mars is placed in the ascendant.  The lord of the ascendant, the Sun is placed in the house of status.  The lord of the house of initiatives and significator of wife, Venus, also is placed in the house of status, though in its sign of debilitation.  Debilitated Venus is also being closely afflicted by the aspect of Rahu.  The functional malefic, the Moon, is just on the mid-point of the third house reducing happiness from younger brothers and sisters, as in addition to the affliction to the third house, the lord of the third house and the significator for the third house, Mars, are also weak.  Mars is in the state of infancy.  Jupiter placed in the third house is also severely afflicted by the functional malefic, the Moon, resulting in denial of male progeny, and suffering on account of female children.  Saturn, though in its own sign, becomes weak due to placement in the sixth house.  The lord of the second house, ruling status, is placed in the third house quite away from the Moon and aspects the house of fortune.  There are many combinations for acquiring high status in this chart.  Firstly, Leo rising in the ascendant.  Secondly, the lord of the ascendant being in the house of status.  Thirdly, the lord of the house of initiatives placed in the house of status.  Fourthly,  yogakaraka Mars being placed in the ascendant.  Above all,  the lord of the house of status aspecting the house of fortune. Rahu-Ketu axis is quite away from the mid-point of the houses of its location.  Rahu closely aspects the functional malefic, the Moon, placed in the tenth house.  The Moon is quite away from the mid-point of the tenth house.  Saturn, the lord of the seventh house is in the state of combustion and is placed in the fifth house in association with the Sun and Venus.  The lord of the fifth house has exchanged position with the lord of the third house.  As per the Systems' Approach, both of these planets draw functional beneficence and placement strength.  The significator for elder brother and male children,
