PART II-B:After-Noon Session on the First Day [Cont]:
Presentation by Cmdr Ashutosh Pandey: ‘Difficult Marriages Brought to Fruition, Through the Power of the SA Remedial Measures’:
Cmdr Ashutosh Pandey gave a short presentation of five impressive CSs, portraying, ‘Marriages’, which could be considered difficult - if not actually impossible - but which came to an unbelievable fruition, through the simple, but nonetheless powerful, SA Remedial Measures. This presentation happened after Professor Choudhry completed his Second Discourse - which I have already covered in PART II-A of the Proceedings.
In an aside, I am taking the liberty once again of placing Sri Ashutosh Pandey’s talk in broader light, for the benefit of SA astrologers, who may not be so familiar with the ethos of Hindu society. The paramount significance of ‘the social institution of marriage & consequent family life’ in ancient, as well as contemporary Hindu society, must be clearly perceived; if we are to appreciate the whole point of these CSs.
In Hindu society, ‘the social institution of marriage & consequent family life’ is the bedrock upon which the whole of society stands. The accumulation of so many Planetary energies in the 4th Sign of Cancer [the Sign of the Divine Mother, home life, and effervescent emotions]in the Chart of Modern India, offers testimony to what is mentioned here. Especially for women[who are not considered equal to men in Hindu society, but rather considered as ‘Saha Dharma Charinis’[ones who ‘walk together on the path of Dharma’], and complementary to men, by nature’s design]; marriage was always that important blessing, which gave lasting emotional & economic security, accorded spiritual dignity to them, and made ‘home life’ that most important area of life, wherein, the self was sacrificed for the larger welfare of the family, where, even the lessons of Dharma [Laws of Moral Order]were learnt and practised more deeply, in the act of the day to day living. All this is not to say that Hindu women do not have their fair share of problems. Here we are no more than opening our eyes to the often unrecognized merits of Hindu society, as the same is essential for capturing the spirit and significance of what Sri Ashutosh Pandey is going to say.
CS#1: [24th June, 1976, 7:35AM, TZ=-5:30Hrs, (79ºE24?, 28ºN20?)]
This young lady, who was from a fairly rich family, was about 34/35 yrs of age. The Chart showed a very badly afflicted Cancer Asdt, as the MEPs of the Asdt house, the VIIH, the IIIH, and the XH were all ‘exactly’ afflicted. The afflicting Planet, Sa, was the Most Malefic Planet [MMP].The Asdt Lord, the Mo was well placed in the XH, but the FM, Ju also nearly exactly afflicted the Asdt Lord too. The Lord of family cohesion, the Su, ruling the IIH, and which was also the PD of the husband, was weakly placed in the XIIH, and likewise, the Significator of Marital happiness, and home life, Ve was also weakly placed in the XIIH. Ju, the GS [General Significator] of the husband, was weak, because the Dispositor was deb, and suffered further from the weakness due to it’s ‘Dispositor’s Affliction’. The father of the young lady, was under the impression [given to him by some Vedic astrologers], that the Chart of his daughter, suffering as it did, from the alleged ‘affliction’ or ‘dosha’ of ‘Kala Sarpa Yoga’, did not even have the potential to bring about a marriage. So, he had resigned himself to this negative fate, created by his erroneous belief.
When the father fortunately understood, what Sri Ashutosh Pandey was saying, he and his daughter now began to do the daily Remedial Measures[for all the FMs: Ra, Ke, Ju and Sa] with sincerity and dedication, and after a time span of some three yrs, the marriage came to fruition, to the satisfaction of all. The reputation of Cmdr Ashutosh Pandey within their circles, as a highly knowledgeable marriage consultant, rose to new levels - as he had humorously put it, himself!
CS#2: [3rd Dec, 1976, 22:06Hrs, TZ=-5:30Hrs, (79ºE05?, 28ºN45?)]
The unfortunate ‘duryoga’ (misfortune) which we saw in CS#1, appears in this CS#2 also, in that, in this Cancer Asdt Chart, again the MMP, Sa is seen to cause an exact, almost 100% affliction to the MEPs of the Asdt house, the VIIIH, the IIIH, and the XH, even. Ve, the significator of marital happiness, and the contentment bestowing Planet, is in extreme old age in the VIH, and afflicted exactly by the FM, Ju. The Sun as the lord of the second house is strongly placed in this chart.
Sri Ashutosh Pandey gave the date, 29th April, 2007, as that day, when the poor lady was widowed, on account of the husband succumbing to a fatal accident. The Me sub-period, within the Mo Dasa was running at that time. Tr Sa was conjunct with the Asdt MEP, as well as with Natal Sa. Tr Ju was afflicting The Asdt MEP, Natal and Tr Sa, nearly exactly, as well as Ve, which signifies vehicles, etc. Tr Ra and Tr Ke, were closely afflicting the VIIIH and IIH respectively, etc. Significantly, Tr Sa, which is malefic enough to bring about death, was moving very slowly around the Asdt MEP, as it had turned from R motion to D motion only on April 20th. It was at 24º 11? on that day, and was still with the orb of exact affliction, during that quasi stationary condition.
Sri Ashutosh Pandey added: Six months later, a second misfortune also struck her-this time, it came to pass on 30th Dec 2007[still the Mo-Me sub-period], she fell off a scooter and injured her knee, this was not bad enough, but delay in medical treatment resulted in the tragedy of the leg being amputated, ten days later.
After meeting Sri Ashutosh Pandey, she appears to have rallied round hope, and started the suggested Remedial Measures [Kavach and Propitiatory Charities, for appeasement of the afflictions], which resulted in the good fortune of the Govt offering her, the job of her late husband. Subsequently, as a result of the Remedial Measures, a new suitor also manifested in her life, and he desired to become her husband. These two CSs then, were very telling, in that, unexpected good fortune came into her life, as blessings of God, unleashed by her devoted and sincere SA Propitiatory Remedial Measures.
CS#3: [8th Nov, 1967, 00:26AM, TZ=-5:30Hrs, (78ºE00?, 27ºN11?)]
This is a Leo ascendant chart in the early degree. The birth time is right as his own father is a doctor. The Asdt Lord, the Sun is weak due to debilitation and placement in an afflicted house. This individual, we were told by Sri Ashutosh Pandey, had been to Ladakh, as he belonged to the Services. He was on a teaching assignment [he has a weak Ju in the IH].
His marriage got delayed due to the weakness of the seventh lord, close affliction to the MEP of the VIIH and debilitation of Venus.
He had to undergo the brain surgery in early 2004 [Ma, which is placed in an afflicted house and is the significator of the head, is placed in debilitation in the D6 DC being lord of ascendant in D6 DC. The D6 DC ascendant is also afflicted by the Nodes. The Nodes, also afflicted the Su in the D6, and in the RC, weak and combust Me, significator of the nervous system, was closely afflicted by the Nodes].
And after he underwent the brain surgery in early 2004 when his natal Mars was under prolonged transit affliction of Rahu, he was very pessimistic about finding a life partner, and his age too seemed to him, to be another factor, which made marriage seem like an unlikely happening in his life.
He had met a certain lady in 2006, but never dreamt that she would become his life partner, after he seriously took up the suggested Remedial Measures [Kavach, as well as the Propitiatory Charities for the FMs], and devoted his attention to them. Remedies started in mid-2009, at first not seriously but gradually increase as benefits started to be realized. He married at the age of 42 years in November, 2009.
CS#4: [11th Dec, 1975, 9:15AM, TZ=-5:30Hrs, (77ºE35?, 12ºN59?)]
This was a Capricorn Asdt Chart, with the MEP at 2º29?, and with the Su [FM] and Ve[FB] strong, is that of a 30 year old lady, who finally, according to Sri Ashutosh Pandey, at 30 yrs of age, married within her own community. She was the eldest daughter in her family, and suffered [Me, ruling the house of the father is weak in the XIIH, and Ma, ruling the house of the mother is likewise also weak in the VIH] because of the divorce of her parents. Sri Ashutosh Pandey mentioned that she was a financial consultant by profession [see her strong XH, and strong Ve].Here then was yet another example of the simple and comprehensive Remedial Measures of the SA, which belatedly secured for her a husband in spite of the PD of the spouse [the Mo] and the GS [General Significator] of the husband, namely Ju being weak in this Chart.
CS#5: [14th Aug, 1972, 23:45Hrs, TZ=-5:30Hrs, (72ºE49?, 18ºN57?)]
Sri Ashutosh Pandey, said, this was an Aries Asdt Chart of a ‘Sugar Baron’ of Maharashtra, who had finally married belatedly at 36 yrs of age, after she came on the path of the SA Remedial Measures. We learnt that there was a misfortune in her life, in her childhood itself-her mother passed away, rather prematurely, when she was just 8 yrs old. We may notice that the Mo is deb in the Navamsa DC, and in the D4 Dc, which pertains to the mother, the Mo is afflicted by the MMP, the Su, for that DC. More importantly, even the Asdt was afflicted by the Nodes in the D4 DC. These factors would account for the loss of the mother so early in life. We also learnt that she married a Swede, and finally settled down in Sweden. In her Chart, we see a strong VIIH, ruled by Ve, and a strong IXH as well, and the Mo, ruling the IVH, well placed in the VIIH of distant lands-even thou, the Mo was not fully strong. The ‘overseas’ husband, was represented by the almost exact blessing, which Ju, as the GS of the husband, gave her Asdt Lord, Ma. The IXH, also points to foreign countries in the SA. We understood from all that Sri Ashutosh Pandey had said, that she achieved this grace, through the Remedial Measures.
