Dear Prof Choudhry,

As you may recall, in Nov 2013, you predicted that this may be a difficult year for my wife, due to Scorpio ascendant and afflicted Mars in her sub period. Based on this advice, I have ordered the SGS services every month for her, and most months for myself. (Based on the good results, I have recently decided to order the SGS services for both of us, every month, regardless of any other considerations.)

Regarding specific details, there have been several minor instances where I felt that the kavach and SGS were definitely a benefit to us. But one major event that comes to mind was that in late January, my wife had a serious fall. Everyone witnessing the event were shocked and deeply distressed in the certainty that she was badly injured, or worse. But miraculously, she landed in just the right way and absorbed the blow without more than a bruise on her thigh. She got up and carried on as if nothing had happened. The bruise lasted for a couple of weeks and disappeared. I immediately thought of the protective effects of the Kavach and the SGS.

I have some positive feedback for the special power kavach we started wearing from 28th June this year (myself, my wife and my daughter).

1. Myself - disturbing dreams totally stopped, less lethargy and more vitality, digestion is good, optimistic. (am running Jupiter sub period since April last year, in Jupiter main period; Ju in 10th house Aries; Cancer asc)

2. Daughter - she is a teenager, there were some negative friendship influences which are not there now, less lethargy, a bit more focused on studies than before. I feel the SPK wearing was timely because her Rahu sub period begins this year Dec end (strong Rahu in 8th house Leo afflicts malefic Sun in 12th having debilitated depositor Ju; Capricorn asc)

3. Wife - she escaped an accident in the kitchen on 12th Aug. (Her afflicted Sun's sub period started end of this July, old/weak Sun in 2nd house conjunct by old Ketu within orb of 2 degrees and old Rahu in 8th; Cancer asc) The stove flame became big when she removed a vessel from the burner but the flame extinguished when it touched her silk. There was lot of gas smell in house when I came in a few minutes later. Her blood pressure rose since early Aug and she went into depression in Oct forgetting herself and others, then got admitted in hospital for a week. Now she is fine. Relationship between her and my parents came to normal after a year.

Am getting very interested in astrology and my study in astrology is progressing well and am able to work out transit effects also a bit. But there are so many case studies and rules but after about 6 months I plan to write exam for certification. Thank you for your great books and supplying the SPKs.

During mid-Jan I purchased your 10 books after coming across your website accidentally. I was fortunate. I am happy to say that I finished reading your first book a few times (Self learning course in astrology). Your language is excellent. Am able to do basic analysis of horoscope. This is the first time I am learning astrology. I know I have to study all your books for many more months, get certified and then only claim myself as an astrologer. But I am able to logically understand and apply your methods. One challenge is the many rules to remember, but I believe practice will overcome it.

As my wife has not been keeping well since 6-7 years and lately more problems which has impacted our family life, I analysed her chart.

My son is going to England ...Cambridge for his Masters funded by Bill and Milinda Gates Scholarship Grant.

He wares his Power Kavach and does the rituals for malifics and if he is pressed I try to do Rama Stotrum and Hanuman Chelisa for him and family, daily (for years)....thanks again.

This is Venu here. My sister has been wearing the SPK com GP provided by you since 2009 experiencing very good results and got married in February this year. She conceived in March this year.

I wanted to check with you regarding a suitable time for my sister's delivery. The due date was today and it was expected that it would be natural. But now doctors are saying it might be c-section surgery. If they were to ask us for a suitable time from tomorrow (6th Dec) to Sunday (9th Dec), what would be the best time to suggest.

As my time is coming to an end with your Graha Shanti services, I just wanted to briefly share with you an update. Even though there were times I was ill or having other problems, I really feel your services have protected me a great deal in the past 3 months.

On the first day of the services I did feel an extra blanket of astral protection embrace me along with my own performances of the remedies. Also I have noticed that I was able to work through the challenges that did come up during this time much easier than in the past.

I understand that even though people may be having the same rising sign with a close MEP, one must consider the placements of the planets and timing of events, but I found this following situation interesting and wanted to share it with you:

I have two friends that I know to be Virgos and they both have MEPs very close to 9 degrees. Both have better charts than I do with regard to some stronger natal benefics and better placements of some natal malefics and both are in benefic/benefic periods of time.
One friend does the SA remedies and has gone through the past 3 months well with their use in his life.
The other friend does not do the SA remedies and recently has been very ill with a lung infection. She now is having some bad reactions to the antibiotics that she had to go on. I feel so sad for my friend because she knows about the SA, but I am hopeful that she will embrace its knowledge and remedies someday.

This experience just verifies even more my feelings of gratitude for your Graha Shanti services ... I definitely plan to use them again in the future (especially when debilitated Ra/Ke go stationary near my MEP).

One last small question if I may. As I am considering refreshing my Kavach protection with the purchase of a newer one, would you be so kind as to explain the difference between the regular Special Power Kavach and the Special Power Ganesha Kavach? Which one would recommend to someone with a Virgo lagna chart? I am also asking because I have always had a strong affinity to Ganesha, and have used the Gum seed mantra in most of the mantras I have ever chanted... Your thoughts on this matter would be deeply appreciated.

Mars is my MMP and it closely afflicts my MEP and from having studied SA I am understanding better now where the benign heart murmur that I have can be seen in my chart with regard to afflictions to the 4th house, the Moon and bad placement of the Sun ... every time I wore this red coral necklace I would feel pain in my heart area ... not understanding anything about Vedic Astrology or gemstones at the time I finally quit wearing it due to the repeated experience of physical discomfort ... now from an SA perspective, I'm glad I did that ... also I was prescribed a blue sapphire gemstone by a Jyotishi before I had an SA reading ... wore that for about 8 years ... I have an exalted, unafflicted, strong in degree Saturn (it's dispositor is utterly weak, afflicted and badly placed)... looking back on it, my experience in that situation was a gradual increase in the intensity of Saturn related afflictions when they would come up over the 8 years I wore the blue sapphire ... I gave that gemstone to my husband since Saturn is a benefic for his chart and he has done quite well with it ... We have both found that installing the Kavach and other proper strengthening/propitiating remedial measures based on SA analysis has really been a huge benefit to myself and my husband ... You remember that last year a power Kavach was made and given to 11yr. old Sóley to wear, as a gift from her grandmother. Sóley has Virgo ascendant. One problem with Sóley is that she has had great difficulty in settling down and studying since she began school. In past years it has been a torturous task to get her to do her homework and study for tests.

During her exams last May she wore an emerald ring and carried her Kavach with her, as the right date for putting it on had not yet arrived. Sóley, herself, was trying the "kavach and ring business" as an experiment, because her grandmother wanted her too. She was open to seeing if it would help her, but did not really believe in it. Sóley still has difficulties to work with in her life, as we all do, but there is a great improvement in her ability to concentrate on her school work and study since she began wearing her ring and Kavach. We also try to be aware of , and use appropriate medicines, remedies, support , etc.., to deal with each situation as it arises on the physical and mental-emotional levels.

Creation of Kavach as a means of strengthening the weak FBs and as propounded by Prof. is in every way a "divine" creation according to me. The Kavach must add a lot that also (although infancy 60%). My Rahu main period will start in February and the coming years will show whether the Kavach will reduce upcoming transit afflictions. I am convinced it will to a great extent. However I better see to propitiating him and probably my Mercury too would need the same as it is exactly on my ascendant.
How do you pronounce Kavach. The ending ch like in Charlie I gather?

In regards to the Kavach I'd like to say that I have friends who wear it and have had improvement in their lives, but I'm writing to give my very own testimony.

I have had great results since I started using it a year ago. A great Friend of mine told me about the Kavach and ordered one in my behalf (as I couldn't afford it at the time). I had been unemployed for a while and finding a job was extremely difficult. After two weeks of wearing it I found the job I had "wanted"...not just any job! I've been at this company for a year now and continue to enjoy working with my co-workers.

Life hasn't been "a bed of roses" all the time, especially the last couple of months, but I believe if I didn't have it perhaps things would have been alot worse! I would hate to find out.

However, if we only had positive events in our lives, how could we evolve spiritually? There is a need for everything in life, good and bad, so we can learn and grow positively. But the power of the Kavach softens negative influences, and makes them lighter than they would have been otherwise. It does this just by strengthening the positive planets we were uniquely born with. This is what I've learned from my very own experience.

Wearing a Kavach has been one of the best things I ever did for myself. I'll always recommend it to anyone.

The Kavach is an "astral remedy" and as the name suggests, it works in the "astral" plane. As many members are probably aware, the universe is made up of several planes. Our world is in the physical plane. There are a couple of planes below ours and several planes exist above our physical plane. The astral plane is just above the physical plane with the mental plane being a step higher. More information on these various planes of existence and other such matters can be found at: http://www.theosociety.org/ Whatever happens in the physical plane has to first manifest in one of the higher planes.

The workings in the astral plane can be best understood if the person explaining and the person being explained to, are both in the astral plane. Being in the physical plane, it will be difficult for anyone to explain or anyone else to clearly understand how the Kavach works because the Kavach operates in a different plane; the astral.

Can I give an analogy to explain this? For persons existing on 2 dimensions, the concept of "height", "depth" and "thickness" will be difficult to understand or explain. But for people like us who live in a 3 dimensional world, such concepts are very clear and simple. Similarly, from the physical plane it will be quite difficult to explain or understand the working of something in the astral plane.

I can vouch for the efficacy of the Kavach having experienced both its negative and positive effects. Four years ago I had a Kavach made for a Scorpio lagna, having been led to believe I was a Scorpio. For Scorpios, Mercury being lord of the 11th house of income, is a benefic and the Kavach added strength to my Mercury. With the onset of my Mercury bhukti (sub period) I went through one of the worst periods in my whole life. Disgrace, humiliation, professional setbacks etc. etc, you name it, it happened, all the negative things that one can think of. The Kavach was supposed to improve matters not what was happening to me. :( :( :( :(

I then suspected that my ascendant may be wrong. I immediately removed the Kavach. I put up my case to Professor Choudhary and going by past events in my life, he very kindly confirmed that I was a Libra and not a Scorpio. For a Libra, Mercury is the most malefic planet. The Kavach had strengthened the MMP and that explained why things had gone horribly wrong for me. I then had another Kavach made for a Libra ascendant two years ago and since then things have been going very smoothly for me. :) :) :) :)
